Convert PowerPoint to PDF in Three Steps

Convert PowerPoint to PDF in three steps, no PowerPoint, no software to install.

1

Upload your Presentation

Drag and drop your .ppt or .pptx file up to 100MB free, 1GB on Pro and 5GB on Premium.

2

Convert Your File

Every slide is rendered as a PDF page, with fonts and graphics locked in place.

3

Download the Result

Your new, highly shareable PDF pitch deck is ready to download and auto-deleted after 15 min.

Share Your Presentations Securely Anywhere.

Sending raw PowerPoint files often results in broken layouts and missing fonts. Here is why converting to PDF is the best way to share your slides.

Lock Custom Fonts

Convert your presentation to PDF so your carefully chosen typography and branding fonts stay locked in place on any device.

Universal Mobile Viewing

Not everyone has PowerPoint installed. Convert to PDF to share the slides with readers who use a PDF app on their phone or tablet.

Print Clean Handouts

Print your presentation as a PDF handout so your audience can take notes without relying on a screen.

Protect Original Designs

Lock your animations, transitions, and editable elements into a static PDF to prevent accidental edits by stakeholders.

Reduce Email File Size

Heavy PPT files with embedded media often exceed email limits. PDF conversion dramatically reduces file size for smooth delivery.

Upload to LinkedIn & Web

Turn your pitch deck into a PDF so you can easily upload it to LinkedIn, SlideShare, or your portfolio website for public viewing.

What converts and what changes

Each slide becomes one PDF page, rendered exactly as it appears in Normal view. Everything static carries across; everything that only exists while presenting does not, which is what makes a PDF deck safe to email and impossible to accidentally edit.

Slides render exactly

Fonts, images, charts, shapes, colours and layout all appear as designed, on any device.

Animations don't travel

Transitions, builds, embedded video and audio are dropped. Slides with animations render in their final state.

One slide, one page

Every slide becomes a full page. For handouts with several slides per sheet, use N-Up & Impose afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will animations and transitions be preserved in the PDF?

No, PDF is a static format, so transitions, build animations, embedded video and audio don't carry across. Slides with builds render in their final state, showing all elements at once, which is normally what you want for a handout or an emailed deck. If your presentation depends on animation, share the original .pptx alongside the PDF.

Can I choose how many slides per page in the PDF output?

Each slide becomes one full PDF page. To create handouts with several slides per sheet, convert first and then use N-Up & Impose to fit 2, 4, 6 or 8 pages onto each sheet, which also lets you choose the reading order and produce a fold-ready booklet.

Is the PowerPoint to PDF tool free to use online?

Yes, FynePDF's PowerPoint to PDF tool is free with no sign-up required. Free accounts can convert files up to 100MB, with up to 10 tasks and 600MB of processing a day. Professional at $7/month raises this to 1GB, and Premium to 5GB.

Is it safe to use PowerPoint to PDF on FynePDF? Are my files secure?

File transfers use TLS encryption. Cloud-processed files are automatically deleted within 15 minutes after processing completes, unless you choose to save them to your Library. Documents are not used to train AI models. Read the Privacy Policy for storage and processing details.

Can I use the PowerPoint to PDF tool on Mac, Windows, or mobile?

Yes. FynePDF works directly from your browser, so it works on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android with no installation, including devices without Microsoft Office. Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge are all supported.

How do I convert PowerPoint to PDF without PowerPoint?

Upload the .ppt or .pptx to FynePDF and download the PDF, no Office licence, no installation, no account. This is the common case when someone emails a deck you can't open: converting it to PDF makes it readable on any phone, tablet or computer. Files exported from Google Slides and Keynote work the same way.

Are speaker notes included in the PDF?

Speaker notes are usually excluded by default, which is normally what people want when sharing a deck but while we convert the slides to PDF those are not carried.

Why is my PDF a different size from the PowerPoint file?

Usually smaller, because embedded video, audio and unused slide masters are dropped, a deck carrying a 40MB video can convert to a few megabytes. It can also grow if your slides use many high-resolution images, since each one is embedded per page. If the result is too large to email, Compress PDF typically reduces it by 40–70%.

Can I upload the PDF to LinkedIn or SlideShare?

Yes. LinkedIn accepts PDF documents for its carousel post format, which is why converting a deck is the standard way to share slides there, the PDF displays inline and readers swipe through rather than downloading a file. The same applies to SlideShare and most portfolio sites.
