What happens to your images

Can I get a separate PDF for each image?

Not directly, images are combined into one PDF. If you need them separate, convert as normal and then use Split PDF to break the result into individual files, which downloads as a ZIP.

Why is my PDF so large after converting photos?

Because nothing is compressed. Each image goes in at full resolution, so a PDF made from modern phone photos is roughly the sum of those photos, often tens of megabytes. Compress PDF typically reduces image-heavy files by 40–70%, and converting to grayscale first shrinks scanned documents further.
