Understanding a medical bill.

Hospital bills arrive as pages of procedure codes and line items with no explanation of what any of it means. Upload the bill and FynePDF explains each charge in plain language, so you can see what you were billed for and identify duplicated or unexpected items before you pay.

checklist
Checking a claim before you submit it.

Most claim denials come from correctable problems, a missing code, a coverage mismatch, an incomplete field. The Claims and Denial Checker reviews a claim against common denial reasons and flags what's likely to cause a rejection, so it gets fixed before submission rather than after.

description
Finding out what your policy covers.

Insurance policies bury the answer to a simple question in forty pages of defined terms. The Policy Document Summarizer extracts coverage limits, exclusions, waiting periods, and the terms that determine whether a claim gets paid. Ask follow-up questions and get answers referenced to the page they came from.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can FynePDF explain my medical bill?

Yes. Upload a bill and FynePDF explains the charges in plain language, including procedure codes and line items, so you can see what you were billed for and spot duplicated or unexpected entries. It's a reading aid, not a billing audit, contact your provider's billing department about charges you believe are wrong.

Is FynePDF HIPAA compliant?

No. FynePDF is not HIPAA compliant and does not sign Business Associate Agreements. Healthcare providers, clinics, and insurers should not upload protected health information on behalf of patients. Individuals reviewing their own medical and insurance documents can use FynePDF freely.

Can FynePDF check an insurance claim before I submit it?

Yes. The Claims and Denial Checker reviews a claim for missing codes, coverage gaps, and common denial triggers, flagging problems before submission rather than after a rejection. Review its output against your policy and your insurer's requirements before filing.

What does the Policy Document Summarizer do?

It reads insurance policy documents and extracts coverage limits, exclusions, waiting periods, and key definitions into a structured summary. You can then ask specific questions about your coverage and get answers with page references, so you can verify against the original wording rather than trusting a paraphrase.

Can FynePDF help me understand a medical report?

Yes. The Medical Report Analyzer summarizes findings, treatments, and medications in language you can follow before a follow-up appointment. It's a reading aid, not medical advice, to discuss anything that matters with your doctor.

Can FynePDF read scanned or mailed documents?

Yes. OCR converts scanned bills, statements, and mailed forms into searchable, selectable text. It works on printed documents and photographs of pages; handwritten notes aren't supported.

Is my medical information kept private?

Files are encrypted in transit with 256-bit TLS and deleted after processing unless you save them to your library. FynePDF does not read, share, or train on your documents. As an added precaution, redact your name, member ID, and other identifiers before uploading.

How large a file can FynePDF handle?

Basic tools like merge and compress handle 600MB on Free and 5GB on paid plans. AI tools and agents accept smaller files: 15MB or 50 pages on Free, 100MB or 2,000 pages on Professional, 250MB or 3,000 pages on Premium.

What happens to my files if I cancel?

You have 15 days to download anything saved to your library. Your account then reverts to the Free plan's 500MB library allowance, and saved files beyond that are removed. Files never saved to your library were already deleted after processing.
