FynePDF API

PDF tools for apps and AI agents, over HTTP or MCP. The same engines as fynepdf.com, with a receipt for every job.

What you can do

• Compress, merge, split and organize PDFs: compress to a target size, merge, split by ranges or size, rotate, crop, reorder.
• Convert both ways: PDF to Word, PDF to Excel, Markdown, images, EPUB and LaTeX; Office files, images, EPUB and web pages to PDF.
• Create documents: generate a PDF from Markdown, HTML, or an invoice's, resume's or letter's fields.
• Make files safe: redact text for real, OCR scans, convert to PDF/A, add or remove passwords.
• Read with AI: ask a question with page citations, summarize, extract invoices, statements and tables, or edit by instruction.

How it works

1. Add a file: upload it, point at a URL, or send it in the request.
2. Run a job: one action, or up to eight chained ("compress, then add page numbers").
3. Get the result: in the same call, by polling, or by webhook. Every job comes with a receipt: what each step did and what it cost.

FynePDF is also an MCP server at https://api.fynepdf.com/mcp. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants sign in with a FynePDF account and use its plan; no API key needed.
