Wayland or X11: FynePDF runs on both. On Wayland, its window shows the FynePDF icon once it's in your apps menu.

### Check your download (optional)

The AppImage is signed with FynePDF's release key, so you can make sure your copy is ours and hasn't been changed.

**Release key fingerprint**: `51E9 EB79 8FC6 6877 DCF2  16C5 D9CA 4930 D63A C317`

```sh
wget https://fynepdf.com/FynePDF-release-key.asc
wget https://downloads.fynepdf.com/linux/FynePDF-1.0.0-x86_64.AppImage.asc
gpg --import FynePDF-release-key.asc
gpg --verify FynePDF-1.0.0-x86_64.AppImage.asc /opt/fynepdf/FynePDF.AppImage
```

It should say "Good signature from FynePDF Releases" and end with the fingerprint above. gpg also warns that the key isn't certified. That's normal for a key you've just added.

The last line checks the copy the commands above put in /opt. To check another copy, end the line with that file instead:

- Downloaded with the button: `~/Downloads/FynePDF-1.0.0-x86_64.AppImage`
- On a Chromebook: `~/FynePDF-1.0.0-x86_64.AppImage`
