# VS Code

Add the FynePDF MCP server to VS Code (GitHub Copilot agent mode) in one click, from the command line, or in mcp.json.

VS Code opens and asks you to install the server. The first time a tool needs your account, it opens fynepdf.com to sign in.

## From the command line

## In a workspace

Add `.vscode/mcp.json` to share it with your team:

## Use it

In Copilot Chat's agent mode, the FynePDF tools appear in the tools list. Ask:

- "Merge the PDFs in ./invoices into one file."
- "Make a PDF of CHANGELOG.md."
- "OCR scans/receipt.pdf and summarize it."
